Tegra Medial is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our sales & marketing department. The Customer Service Rep for the Quick Wire & Tube (QWT) business owns the entire process (outside of Operations) from basic quoting to shipment of product and customer relations.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Entry via Web Store and all other communication channels
Responding to Customer Inquiries
Receive, review and generate Basic Quotes, including customer drawings, specifications and inspection plans to determine product manufacturability within the QWT business
Enter Repeat orders as requested to support QWT team
Contact customer with issues / questions that occur during manufacturing and negotiate possible solutions
Generate router/work instructions for purchase orders resulting from quote
Manage orders, make order changes, meet with operations/scheduling regarding job issues, communicate with Accounting regarding credit issues, inform customers of late jobs, handle customer expedites/de-expedites requests, initiate customer complaints/RMA#s, send daily notifications to customers with shipping information and follow orders to ensure on-time delivery
Work with Sales team in resolving customer issues if applicable
Enter new customers into system
Assist Customer Care Team for coverage, call center inquiries, order entry and job launch processes as required
Switchboard coverage as needed
Additional duties and responsibilities as required which could be customer related or project based
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of three (3) years related experience in a customer service setting that includes order entry and return processing. Limited supervision (must be highly autonomous; displays independence). Customer Service (QWT) roles includes aspects of basic quoting with the ability to learn how to read blue prints, drawings, and specifications. Very strong oral and written communication skills are required. Experience working with spreadsheet and word processing programs is essential. Good work habits, strong workmanship and a positive attitude are required. College Degree preferred but not required.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience in medical device manufacturing (ISO 13485), aerospace, machinery, or metals desired.
